    The origin of this term is a general term for contact languages that were naturally created in after the 16th century with compatible alternative words to communicate between different languages of origin and the local language.
    It is formed in the course of daily life as a means of communication among several groups that do not have a common language.

  • In the process of coming into contact with the languages of various communities, there is an idea that I come back to every time. Language is nothing more than a tool.
    Perhaps it is because I grew up in Japan, where there are many diverse languages, some beautiful and some not so beautiful, that I am always fascinated by the languages of various countries and their meanings that I encounter on a daily basis.
    However, even among speakers of the same language, there are times when there is a gap in the perception of meaning, when the meaning changes depending on the nuance, and when it becomes meaningless and goes out of use.

    In the extreme, one wonders if language would be lost if telepaths were available.
    I digress. In short, what is important here is not the actual language itself, but the image shared behind the words that float between people who are trying to communicate with each other.

  • I thought that the language of contact language, which is made up of innocent compositions, is close to this, and I wanted to make clothes based on this compatibility.
    This is a fictional language that began when the designer researched Tok Pidgin, the official language of a country in which he has long held an interest.

  • There are several defining characteristics of the pidgin languages that connect people in different ways throughout the world.
    Pidgins are characterized by a simplified grammatical system, a familiar pronunciation, and a polysemic vocabulary that allows for the sharing of concepts between languages.

    In this case, we decided to simplify the cuttings, which had been assembled once before, and to assume fabrics and coloring that would be familiar to people and places, as well as polysemantic detailing that would incorporate multiple perspectives.

  • The pidgin language continues.
    This indeterminate language, which was probably born to communicate with others in order to know them and to convey their thoughts, even if sometimes in a different way, takes root in daily life and is passed down from generation to generation, changing as it goes.
    The number of people who speak the language gradually increases, and the language that has become established among people as their mother tongue is called Creole.
